The Angel appeared over Tokyo-3 in a form of a "reflective ball". It hovered in place until it was attacked. When Unit-01 stepped onto its real form, the ball's shadow, they realize what they were up against. Unit-01 was sucked into the Dirac Sea and was trapped there. As a last resort to destroy the Angel, NERV was about all the worlds N2 bombs in to its center.
Profile: This Angel seemed to have the ability to disappear and reappear anywhere to avoid any attack at it.
Fate: In the final seconds, Unit-01 went Berserker, with no power, and ripped itself free, and killed Leliel.
