PROLOGUE by tulzdavampslayer

It is the year 2020.

The world has fallen apart.

In the year 2003, a great power suddenly appeared,
out of the depths of nothing.

It brought with it beings long believed to be extinct, or fantastik. 
Unicorns, Fairies, Dragons, Vampires, Werewolves, you name 'em, we got 
'em now.

The Power is evil, and has taken over the world.

The human race is slowly being killed off, one by one...

Some humans have changed sides, but many have made small rebel factions 
to fight the monsters.

Legend has it that millions of years ago, the Power had appeared, but 
the only way it was pushed back was by "The Joining of The Three". No-
one knows what this means...

Meanwhile, in 2020, 3 17-yr old girls, each bearing an identical 
birthmark on their stomachs (a Golden Snake), fight for their lives 
versus the Power and the great evils that have surfaced.


STORY Part 1

Ezra, a 17-year-old girl, is walking home from her job when she gets 
attacked by a vampire, who is easily dusted.  She bumps into Mich and 
meets up with her cousin Ros.    Mich tries to kill some pixies, but is 
stopped by Princess Scera of the Imps.  Scera's bodyguard Kurimakuma 
("Kuri") is immediately suspicious, and becomes hostile when Mich picks 
up and tickles Scera.  As it's almost curfew time, Ezra heads off home 
and Mich takes Ros, Scera and Kuri to her base, where several Hackers 
work.  They are followed by Jace, who is acting on his own curiosity.  
And ezra, realising she dropped the stake she used to kill the vampire, 
notices Jace and decides to follow him.

Jace and Ezra reach the place, only to discover it's locked.  Ezra 
kicks down the door and they go in.  Jace meets the rest of the group.  
And Kuri again gets suspicious and hostile when Jace attempts to make 
peace with him by handing him a dagger.  Scera almost hurts Jace, but 
teleports away just in time to stop herself from doin something she'll 
regret.  Kuri goes off to console her.  After a while, Kuri returns, 
and tells Jace exactly what the peace attempt did to them both (the 
dagger passed Jace's memories to Kuri).  Meanwhile, Ros has left to 
distrat herself (by doing some hacking) and discovers Scera in the 
computer room.  Submitting to uncontrollable emiotions, Scera 
inadvertently turns Ros into an imp.  Meanwhile, Ezra has left 
unnoticed, gone home and started crying over her deceased boyfriends.  
She wakes up a few hours later and decides to go out and patrol.

Ros, meanwhile, has turned back into a human, and is now lying on top 
of Jace after falling down the stairs to computer room #27.  Mich 
appears, looking all the worse for wear, as she has been trying to find 
the hackers and ended up being attacked by a robot (she is only cleared 
for entry to two of the 783 computer rooms).  Here, they hear Ezra 
screaming as she is trying to fight a BIG monster.  Enter City Guard 
officer Vael, who catches Ezra outside (this is some way away).  Back 
at the base, Scera turns Jace into an imp to see whether or not he can 
undo the metamorphosis.  He can't.  And Kuri is still hostile towards 
him.  Imp-Jace turns into Elvis Presley ((OOC: It's only 20 years in 
the future)) and passes out.  Scera, in the meantime, somehow gets 
herself cornered by robots.  And Mich takes Kuri, Scera and Imp-Jace to 
Ezra and Vael.  And Scera falls in love with imp-Jace.

They arrive at the scene of the scream to discover Vael helping Ezra 
stay awake (her scream earlier on was caused by a monster slashing her 
arm.  She's lost a lot of blood and ends up fainting.  She is tended to 
by Scera, while imp-Jace and Kuri talk about imp sex.  Ezra comes to 
(thanks to her healing ability), but they hear a voice saying "Die, 
Slayer, die".  Vael goes out to investigate and gets ambushed by 
Krystaline, a young girl sporting a fascination with the colour pink 
and a golden snake tattoo identical to the ones sported by Ezra and 
Ros.  Meanwhile, the Jeep has gone off, back to the base.  Kuri 
confronts Jace yet again, this time on a need-to-know basis.  He needs 
to know exactly what Jace is.  Their conversation ends with Ros 
appearing and Jace's bracers now making flowers instead of daggers.  
Scera turns Mich into an imp and then paralyses her in order to get her 
to swallow a Maiden's Kiss nut (the antidote, previously used on imp-
Jace).  However, Mich's mouth is paralysed too and she can't chew or 
swallow the nut.  Scera re-mobilises her, Mich accidentally teleports 
to the trash can.

The next morning, Vael arrives at Ezra's with Krystaline.  He meets 
Ezra and now the three girls (Ezra, Ros, Krystaline) are soon to be 
united.  Meanwhile, imp-Mich is in the sink, having accidentally 
teleported there.  Ezra calls Ros, and takes Vael and Krystaline to the 
base.

All this is being watched by an ageless, raceless being named Ayame and 
her vampire sdekick, Khorwin E'Drien.

Ezra arrives at the base and Vael and Krystaline are introduced to the 
group.  Vael reveals he is from the telepathic City Guard.  Ezra begins 
to doubt his human origin, but Vael sends her a telepathic message 
saying that he is otherwise human.

Later that night, Khorwin is wandering the streets when he kills a 
beggar with his long sword, Blackwand.  Ayame follows and wraps the 
beggar in her trademark white paper (which the has a talent for 
controlling).  Ros appears on the scene, shopping for milk.  She sees 
the body and decides to go after Ayame.  Ezra follows a holographic 
image of Ros.

Atop a building, Ayame is watching.  Ros appears and holds her hostage, 
but then Vael appears and tells Ros to let go.  He reveals that Ayame 
is not a vampire, and Ayame tells all: she is a raceless immortal 
being, sent to Earth to destroy humanity.  Khorwin cuts off Ros's knife 
hand, but her healing ability (the same as the one demonstrated by Ezra 
earlier) takes his and replaces it with hers.  Khorwin and Ayame 
disappear, leaving a message: "Thus ends the first game, the first of 
many. You have gained the right to live till the next time ... till we 
play again."

At a warehouse, Ayame re-connects Khorwin's hand and asks him what it 
is like to remember his childhood.  They then go off to practice.

Back at the base, everyone confers as to what just happened.  Kuri 
awakens to find himself an imp-vampire.  Ezra and Jace stop him killing 
any humans.
