Boarding School Girl - Nine Usagi-chan Usagi@tuxedomask.com I don't own Sailormoon or anything pertaining to E-mail me! ~~~ Serena awoke feeling more refreshed than usual. It was a Saturday, so she had no school. She snuggled deeper into her bed, quite content to spend the rest of the morning there, when she realized it wasn't her bed. "Darien!" she gasped. "Hmmm?" A groggy Darien looked at her through sleepy eyes, and smiled. "Serena..." Serena smiled back at him, and set her head on his shoulder. Darien tightened his arms around her, pulling her closer to him. "I like waking up to you." He whispered in her ear. Serena blushed slightly. "Me too." She whispered back. "What do you want to do today?" He asked her. "What do you normally spend your Saturday's doing?" Serena asked in response. Darien thought for a minute. "Normally... I wake up late, eat lunch, study, study, talk to Lita if I have time, study, eat dinner, study, study, study, and if I have any time left, I sleep some more." "No." Was Serena's simple reply. She shook her head. "No studying." "Okay, then what do you want to do?" He asked. "This is an apartment, so you have a pool, right?" She asked. Darien nodded. "There ya go! We can take a swim!" "You want to swim?" He asked. "Sure, why not?" "Okay." Darien threw back the covers and started to get out of the bed. Serena screamed. "What are you doing?" She pulled him back down and snatched the covers back up, effectively tucking the two in. "I thought you wanted to swim?" Darien asked. "Not yet! I want to stay here for now. It's not proper to get out of bed before noon. Sheesh." Serena shook her head sadly, before snuggling with Darien again. Darien laughed and wrapped his arms around Serena. "Alright. We'll do it your way." "Good." ~~ Serena dove gracefully off the diving board and entered the water with very little splash. Darien watched her, and waited for her to resurface. Serena came up and pushed her hair back, out of her face. "Your an amazing diver!" Darien exclaimed. Serena laughed. "I grew up swimming. We had indoor and outdoor pools, so I could swim any season." Darien sighed. "Now your reduced to apartment swimming pools." Serena swam up behind him and wrapped her arms around him, pressing her face into his back. "It doesn't matter, if I'm with you." She told him. Darien turned around and hugged her back. He buried his face in her wet hair. "Thank you, Serena." The two stood with their arms wrapped around each other, just being. "It's so peaceful here." Serena murmured from her safe position in Darien's arms. "So peaceful..." ~~ Several hours later, Serena found herself sitting in one of the library chairs watching Darien study. He was pouring over a book while she lazily stretched in the soft chair. "I thought we agreed no studying?" She asked, leaning over to look at what he was reading. "Hey!" Darien protested. "You asked me what I wanted to do, and I'm not studying. I'm merely reading." Serena flipped up the book cover and glanced at the title. 'Pride and Prejudice' (hee hee Klutz!) "I've read that." Serena flopped over as best she could in a chair. "It's so boring." "Boring! Are you nuts! I love this book." Darien told her, closing it. "Nah.." Serena shook her head. "I have the whole Jane Austen collection at home. Some of them are really old, and signed by her." "You grew up with everything you ever wanted, didn't you?" Darien's tone was soft and serious. Serena looked up at him, her blue eyes filled with a quiet, gentle love. "No." She shook her head. "I didn't grow up with you." ~~~
