Xellos Metallium first appears in Episode two of Slayers Next, first watching Lina and the others from a tree, commenting on their moves. He then hops out of the tree and lands in the middle of the group, scaring the hell out of them. He eventually introduces himself as Xellos, Mysterious priest. In this episode, four things occur that show his character. He lies to them about the Clair Bible (which Zelgadis is also after), he pisses Zelgadis off (not for the first time, however...), he admits to using Lina and her friends as pawns...and of course...it is here he first uses his catchphrase that some of us hate to love, the others love to hate.. "Well....th-at...is...a secret!!" (*insert insane cackle here*). All in his first appearance.

Xellos is the high priest and general to Beastmaster Zellas, one of Shabranigdo's generals. All you see of Zellas in Slayers Next is a pair of legs, blonde hair, and a long cigarette. That's Xelly-belly's boss. From what I've seen, his fruity exterior hides a dark interior. Xellos is like a razor blade hidden inside a caramel apple. O.o; And just why is he following Lina and her friends around?? ....Well...er.. Sore wa, himitsu desu. ^.~
Affectionately referred to by Filia as "Namagomi!!" (which loosely translates into "Raw Garbage").. or "Monster", Xellos deserves basically any shot (including any by mace-sama) Filia takes on him. He (basically) singlehandedly almost wiped out the Golden Dragon race, so those rumors about Xellos and Filia being all romantic and such? Well...I don't want to jump the gun on this one..but I'm leaning towards...no.

My information about Xellos is limited, because, he is, after all the mysterious priest. He's voiced by David Moo in the dubbed version (say what you will, I love Xel's dub voice) and his Japanese voice is Ishida Akira
