She's fifteen years old. And somehow, she's one of the most feared, most hated people in the Slayers universe. "The Dragon Spooker", "The Bandit Killer", "Enemy to those who live"... Ouch, that's gotta hurt a girl's ego.
Lina Inverse, a young sorceress and the main character of Slayers, is a young girl with a slightly underdeveloped chest and a "super-petit cute little body". In other words, she's short and has small breasts. In the beginning, she travels with Naga the Serpent (who dresses skimpy enough to make Britney Spears blush) as a mercenery for hire, and she is teased mercilessly about her breast size by Naga, who is certainly well-endowed (but is it -natural-?)
In Slayers Prime, Lina is a year older, and her character is developed (Hah!) better than it was in the episodes with Naga. You don't find out much about her past, only that her sister Luna is a waitress and Lina's petrified of her. (Lina calls her "The Waitress from hell"), but, hell, her present is certainly interesting.She even had a play written about her. Yeah, ok, it was called "The Death of the Abomadible Fiend Lina Inverse", but at least she got a starring role..
Now then, the thing with Gourry.. They love each other. It's just obvious.. And they're so cute together!
Lina tends to have her breasts grabbed often.. (at least five times by Gourry in Slayers Prime and about twice by Zelgadiss), and all by "accident", and it pisses her off to no end from the looks of things.
In Subtitles, Lina's voice is done by the wonderful Megumi Hayashibara, who also sings the theme songs, and does Tira Misu on Sorcerer Hunters. In English, Cynthia Martinez does the voice of Lina during the OAV's and Lisa Oritz does it for Prime/Next/Try and I think she does a good job. <.<; Lisa also does the voice of Deedlit in 'Record of Lodoss War'.
