We first meet Amelia Wil Tesla Seiruun when Gourry wanders away from Lina and sees her fighting against some bandits in the name of justice and when she climbs in a tree to continue her speech, she falls and..er...lands...on the guy she was trying to save... Then she looked at Gourry, saw his outfit, his sword and asked him if he worked in a pet shop. Because, you simply can't judge people by appearance alone.
Amelia is the teenage Princess of Seyruun, right behind her father, Prince Philyonel, and his brothers and her cousin Alfred. (Who is kinda hot.. <.<; ), and she takes her job as an "ally of Justice" very seriously.. very seriously..She's an only child, which is why Philyonel spoils her a bit, but her older sister (damned if I can remember her name) ran off when their mother died, and it's rumored on the net that Naga is Amelia's sister.
She has a schoolgirl crush on Zelgadiss, even though when she first met him, she said "..B..b..but who's he?! He's so creepy and suspicious looking!!", which means she was judging by appearance, but that's another story. I'm not sure if he cares about her or if he considers her anything but a little sister, but she cares about him, even if he thinks she's annoying as hell during the first season.
Originally, Amelia's dub voice is horribly, -horribly- annoying.. To the point that I muted whenever she spoke and just made up what she said, but thank god, her voice was soon changed to Veronica Taylor, who also does the voice of Ash Ketchum and Mrs. Ketchum, among others, on Pokemon
