I have many things with which I occupy my time. With whatever I am doing I usually have some form of music playing. I enjoy reading. Some books (fiction) I have read and loved...

most recently I read Silk by Caitlin Kiernan. mmmmmmmm delicious read it was... am waiting for close friends to quickly read it because I need to discuss this book but dont want to ruin it by giving things away. *sigh* patience
The Blood Countess, Andrei Codrescu-an interesting novel based on the true story of Elizabeth Bathory. It was a bit dry for me but at least someone is taking a stab at writing some of her tale.

The Theif of Always, Clive Barker-This was such a sweet magical tale about a young boy and his journey in a place where children never grow old.

Drawing Blood, Poppy Z.Brite-::sigh:: this book was so sweet. It really affected me.

Exquisite Corpse(poppy again)-what a delicious read this was!

Lost Souls(same)-what can one say about a book that takes there heart out and places it in the binding until you finish the book only to feel as though the binding is not the only thing your rough reading hours has ripped all apart. in other words I Looove this book!

Wormwood(guess who?)-one of the greatest collections of short stories I have ever read.

The Lazarus Heart (guess who?)- it is set in the realm of the crow. I really enjoyed reading this. It was a very intense story. She allowed you to get inside the characters so well that I couldnt help but get involved in the story.
As One Dead, Don Bassingthwaite and Nancy Kilpatric-this is a Vampire the Masquerade novel. It was a very good read.

A whole bunch of V.C Andrews books (19 to be exact so I shall not get into specifics except to say that alot of 'em are about some really twisted family occurances (heck yeah, I love that stuff)!

The Crow (the graphic novel)-it was far more intence than the movie. Very well done.
I looooove Sandman comics. Neil Gaimen is just incredible. Also, his most recent project, Stardust is a sweet story.
I love Anne Rice as well. I recently read the graphic novel version of The Vampire Lestat. I really found it a super interpretation of the original novel.

Something else I very much enjoy doing is watching horror movies (yes, specialy the crazy b-horror flicks). Evil Dead...great example of a cheezy flick I really like. I also have a strange fasination with serial killers. In saying this, I am not saying I like what they do, frankly I am disgusted by their actions but, I am intrigued with their stories.
