watched the tears, I watched the flood, the anger, the insecurity come. But most of
all, I watched the fright of so many enflamed by this tragic event. Forever embedded
in our timeline with its pictures, videos and speeches. Some didn't understand, know,
feel safe, and some were just lost in confusion. The authorities say it'll take weeks,
others say months, some even say years, but I know it won't. Now all that is left is hope,
courage and belief. Hope for a sooner recovery, courage to go on in our daily lives and not
fear, and belief in our country that it will pull together and seal the pain and anger.
