Gibson Lilly, son of Susan Harris/Lilly, was born 8 May, 1844. He is listed with his mother, sister, and brother in the 1850 Wayne County, North Carolina Census returns as stated elsewhere. He was still living at home with his mother in 1860.
According to Civl War regiment data he was born in Wayne County and was by occupation a distiller prior to enlisting in Wayne County at the age 18 (10 May, 1862 for the duration of the war). He died in Raleigh, North Carolina 15 June, 1862. This is all the information I have on Gibson Lilly.
