15 Dec 2005 - Old advice

I wrote the following in a comment for someone elses blog today and then realized I should share this advice with everyone.

"I was told many years ago, back when I could only get jobs that I felt were beneath me, to do this. Take a clean sheet of paper and write in big RED letters this sentence, "I can and I will be the best at everything I do." I was told to use all of one side of that paper to write this. Then to keep it next to my bed, so that I could read it every night before going to bed and every morning when I got up. I was to never let it get covered up or I might forget to read it. After awhile, you have it memorized and then you can say it to yourself anytime you need encouragement. I still do not have the job I want. But at least I don't feel that I am working beneath myself and I am not treated that way either. M"

Today as I was putting something into the truck.  I didn't look to see what was in the seat first.  Turns out that the container that I put the non-green M & M's in was there and I caused most of those M & M's to spill all over the inside of my truck.  I lost all but 6 M & M's.  At least I didn't lose the green ones.

Tonight I am in Searcy, AR.  This load is going to PA.  I got till Sunday to get it there.
