Her homebase actually was Milo. She moved to Milo her eighth grade year, where her father, Chuck Haller, taught Algebra. Her mother, Mary Haller, taught grades 1-4 at nearby Canyonville SDA School.
After Milo, Laura spent at least two years at Walla Walla College, where she majored in elementary education.
There she met and married Keith Miller.
Keith and Laura moved to New Hampshire in December of 2000.
