About a year after graduating from Milo, she married her academy-sweetheart, Jim Carpenter.
Jim and Frances lived in the Salem Oregon area after they were married.
In 1994, they moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee. Frances worked at a daycare and became the lead teacher for the 4-year old class.
Frances quit teaching in Jan. 1999 when her son, Benjamin James was born.
In September 2000, Benjamin was joined by a little sister, Kylen Brianne.
