About a year after graduation, Jim married his academy sweetheart, Frances Glenn.
They lived in the Salem Oregon area for a while, but moved in 1994 to Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Jim attended Southern College for a year, followed by community college, finally getting a degree as a medical lab tech.
He's been working as a histotech at a local hospital for the past 3 years.
Jim and Frances are the proud parents of two children, Benjamin James (2 1/2) and Kylen Brianne (8 mos.).
