| Henry Francis Jefferson Mills fought in the Civil War. He served in the Confederate Army as a private in Co. F, 33rd.Ala.Regt. called the "Covington Blue & Grays". He was mustered in on March 11, 1862 and was wounded in the Battle Of Chicamauga. After being wounded he served the remainder of his time as a nurse. Following the war, he received a Confederate pension and lived out the remainder of his life in Buloock community which is now Crenshaw County, Ala.
