14 Keepers:
At the end of the season you must declare 14 keepers from your team. If you have a minor leaguer whose name is in the yahoo database then you do not have his rights anymore as a minor leaguer; you must declare him as a keeper like everyone else. However, if you declare a minor leaguer or an old player as a keeper and they retire or are sent back to the minors and their names are removed from yahoo at the start of next season then you can add a player from last years team to replace him as a keeper. If the player whose name was removed was sent back to the minors then you still own his rights.
There will be two drafts next year:
A supplemental draft of college/minor leaguers and Another Free Agent draft of MLB players who weren't declared keepers to fill out the rest of our squads for that year
The last place finisher of this season picks first in the Supp Draft and the first place finisher picks last.
The order of the FA Draft will be determined the same way.
You cannot supp draft a player who has just been added to yahoo players list, even if that player is still on waivers. If you want that player you need to pick him up on waivers like a normal player or wait till he�s a FA.
This years Supp. draft is 3 rounds. Each pick is given a 1-day span. If you don�t pick during that time then your pick is skipped. If it is your pick again and you still have not picked your previous pick then this pick is skipped as well. The only exception is if you have two picks in a row then you will be given a 2-day timer to pick them both. If any of someone�s picks have been skipped then that person can jump in and pick them whenever.
In order to veto a trade six people must be opposed to it and post messages saying so.
Compensation picks will be given to new managers who replace a team whose picks were skipped. The compensation picks will be added on at the end of each round. For example: In the 1st round the 1st place team picks 16th then the compensation picks come and then the second round begins. The compensation picks will be at the end of the round that was skipped the previous year(if a second rounder was skipped then youre comp pick will be added at the end of the 2nd round for this years prospect draft)
Prospects must be added by 5 games played for a pitcher and 15 for a position player. This applies for the current season, not the players career. You must add them by 12:00 noon ET the day after the 5th or 15th game has been played or else you will no longer have their rights and they can be picked up by anybody. So at 12:00:01 PM the day after the game limit is passed people can add the prospect.
