so this page is for the bun i'm cooking. It's a Girl! Elphie Iliana. I'm due June 16th 2005. oh, and that's not me in the picture on the right.

Well, not a whole lot has changed since the last time I posted here. My belly is a LOT bigger now. My belly button pops out some at the top, i love it. Elphie is due in 3 & 1/2 weeks! I had a baby shower this weekend, and I have another one Sunday in Rock Hill.

2.15.5SO! I went to the gyno today with ricky and my mom and found out that we're having a girl! I'm so excited! We got to see all of her fingers, toes, and such. We even got to see her eyes, nose, and lips. Not to mention her "hamburger!" We got it on tape and all. Caiti and Jamie came over after rick left for work and watched the video. I'm so happy. The best part of it all was seeing that she is healthy. Yay.
2.9.5Yesterday, Ricky and I could see my belly moving! So cool.
2.7.5Well, i hit 130 pounds last monday, which is cool. I've never really weighed over 120, so that's a lot for me. i can feel the baby moving a lot right now. it's so amazing. Only 8 days until we find out if we're having a boy or a girl!
1.28.5Now the baby can be felt moving from the outside! How cool is that? Rick was the first one to feel it; he felt it on the 26th. Awesome.
1.22.5i've found the answer to my boob problems (they're getting heavy and uncomfortable). sports bras! duh! *slaps self* i wish i'd thought of it sooner. they're life savers. anyway. the baby is moving a lot now. i'm 19 weeks and 2 days pregnant today, which is great. we get to find out if we're having a boy or girl on Tuesday, February 15th, which is also great. so awesome. my belly is getting bigger, and i'm eating more. we went to the doctor tuesday and got to hear the heartbeat again, so exciting. oh, and my vision is starting to get bad, as it does with most pregnant women. it's worth it though, i just have to get a stronger perscription.

the worst possible thing has happened. i had noticed a little purple on a little of my "chest area" about a week ago, but figured it was just veins showing up more b/c my "chest" was getting ready for the baby. then i get to looking at rick's stretch marks. i have rick look at my marks and he says that that is what stretch marks look like when they first show up. holy hell! so then i have him smother me in Cocoa Butter Forumla ® Massage Lotion for STRETCH MARKS. i look like i'm ready to go sunbathing on a nude beach now. so he's putting it on my belly and all over, and he notices a little bit more on the underside of my chest where i couldn't see! holy hell again! i mean, i knew i was somewhat bigger, but i never thought i was stretch mark bigger! *pout* why me?? hopefully they don't show up anywhere where the public would see them, like my belly or arms. just in case, rick soaked my arms too. the belly is a given. i'd been putting the lotion there before already. i just didn't consider that my chest might have needed protection *cries*

Got to hear the baby's heartbeat today! really amazing. the doctor says it sounds perfect, and i couldn't agree more. my baby is perfect.
