What's New With Us.......
12/17/06

Well we have some new things to report on.  We have purchased our very first house.  We moved in on August 28, 2006 and have settled in and are ready for our first Christmas in our new house.  We have also got a new addition to the family.
Izzy is our new 6 week old Alaskan Malamute puppy.  She is adjusting to life with us and of course Morris.  He isn't so sure about her but they are beginning to play with each other.

Amy is finally done with school.  She finished on Saturday and is glad to be done.  She's not sure what she wants to be when she grows up but is going to keep working at Pier One for now.  Michael is still working at Lake Superior College and is done with his six month probation and will get his first raise.

Amy has had some artwork that was selected for The Emerging Photographers Exhibition at the Duluth Art Institute.  Her work can be seen through April.

We hope that everyone has a wonderful Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year.

Well it has been a while since we have updated.  Thought we should put some of our happenings up on the site for those of you who don't get a chance to talk to us often can still keep up with out life.

Michael has been at his new job for a couple of weeks now and is really enjoying it.  He is working at Lake Superior College here in Duluth.  His official title is Central Services Administrative Specialist.  Sounds much cooler than it actually is.  Basically he is managing and operating the Copy Center and the Mail Room.  It's nice to finally have a normal job with normail hours.  M-F 8:00 - 4:30....better than the overnights at Cub.

Amy is still the Assistant Manager of Pier One Imports and is enjoying it still.  She is taking summer classes and just finished her first session.  The last business class of her college career.  Now she is just finishing up her Photography minor with one class this summer and three in the fall then she graduates in December...YAY!!!  She will definitely be happy to be done with college.

Our one year anniversary is coming up in a couple of weeks.  Hard to believe it has been a year already.

We have been looking at houses for a while and finally found one that we like and in our price range.  We put an offer down on Thursday and are waiting for a response.  Keeping our fingers crossed that everything turns out well.

We hope everyone has a wonderful and safe Fourth of July!!!!

It has been six months since the wedding and things are going great.  We just got back from our trip to Colorado for our belated honeymoon.  Hope to get some pictures up soon.  We spent four days skiing at Vail and spending time with family and friends who live out there.  The views were great and the skiing was amazing.  Amy's aunt Barb let us stay with her and made out trip a wonderful and relaxing time.  THANKS Barb....

Amy is back to school on Tuesday and is working at Pier One Imports as an assistant manager.  She likes her job and is looking forward to being done with school December 2006.

Michael is still working at Cub Foods (mostly for the great insurance benefits) and has started driving school bus for Voyegeur Bus Company here in Duluth.  He enjoys driving bus and is following in his mother and grandmother's footsteps.

We hope everyone is having a great new year and we wish you all the best.
