Yellow/Orange Tomatoes

Persimmon: (75 days) Indeterminate.  A main-season slicing variety with deep yellow-orange fruit. Juicy, has a nice "creamy" texture and excellent flavor. Round 3-5 inch globes grow on 5-6 ft. vines.  On of Annette's favorites from 2005.
Old German: 80 days, Indeterminate.  Color is yellow with a red center seen on the surface and through the core.  Produces large beefsteaks. This fruit's outstanding flavor makes up for its sensitivity to drought.  Mennonite family heirloom from the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia

Wapsipinicon Peach: 80 days, Indeterminate.  This Iowa heirloom, (named after the Wapsipincon River), has 2" fruits with fuzzy skin.  Not just a novelty, it has a complex, sweet flavor.  Color is a creamy yellow, much prettier than this photo shows
White tomatoes are actually pretty darn yellow, so check out the "White" page, and White Currant in the "Cherry" page.
