MFA METEORA




MFA Meteora     This fella, formerly Hidalgo, was the very first Breyer that I ever bought. I nabbed him at BF 2004, which I only attended on a one-day ticket, because of his gorgeous color and vivid pattern. At the time, I didn't think in terms of "Ooh, is he live-show quality? Would he win?" I just thought in the terms of "OOH, PRETTY HORSIE!" Still do, actually! Just I try to make sure that while, I'm drooling over their beauty, I'm picking up one that could show if I wanted to do so with it.

     Meteora is named for a Linkin Park CD that contains one of my very favorite songs, "Easier to Run." See what happens when you spend time playing video games? You end up finding songs that fit certain characters like a glove. To date, this boy hasn't been shown; he's a shelf model, and I'm content to leave him as such.
