ABOUT ME

Hi, folks! Welcome to Millennium Falcon Acres, home to my model horse collection. In here you'll find my entire stable, categorized into three main divisions: Traditionals, Classics, Stablemates. From there, you can see a page for each horse I own, with its name, important information, and any awards it may have won in live showing.

Now I guess I ought to tell you about myself. My name's Stephanie, though you may call me Steph for short. I don't mind one bit. I'm sixteen years old and a junior in high school; Mom homeschools me and my only sister. I've been collecting model horses ever since my grandmother (on my dad's side) gave me a beat-up Hartland mare to keep me occupied whenever I visited her. My sister, who is two years younger than I, also is into model horses, though lately she's been bitten by the "resin bug" and buys fancier (and therefore expensive!) resin sculptures and the like. Both of us have been bitten with the live show bug; my first live show was at the 2008 BreyerFest Youth Show, where two of my models won Grand Champion in their breed divisions. Since I don't think I'll be able to participate in the Youth Show anymore, given my age, I may join the Open Show next year. Until then, I'm going to try to attend shows near where I live.

As you can see from my "stable name," I'm a Star Wars nerd. See, life isn't all about horses for this girl! My other loves include the following: "Firefly" (and the movie Serenity, after which one of my horses is named), Iron Man (because the movie was awesome), Indiana Jones, video gaming, and especially WRITING! I also enjoy photography.

Hope you enjoy yourself here at MFA. Make yourself to home!

Happy trails, Steph.

PS: I'm sorry for the ads on the side of the page. Geocities was the only site I really knew how to use. You can click the little arrow to collapse the ads, though, and then they're not as noticeable. =D
