But the autumn breezes,
Brings a coolness to the day.
The coolness brings back memories,

Of days when i was happy,
I thought i was in love.
The kind of love that has no end,
When you can stare into your lover�s eyes,

And forget what you were saying.
I find myself thinking of him for no reason,
I smile,
Only I know what the smile is for.

That cool autumn day,
When we first me,
Is so clear in my thoughts.
I want that day back again,

But for now,
All I have is Autumn breezes.

I put on a smile,
Trying to hide the hurt inside,
Everyone sees the happiness I put on,
But I know the true hurt.

I hurt because of who I am,
I�m not free to love in public,
I see happy couples holding hands,
Kissing.

It hurts me
My boyfriend and I could not do that,
At least not yet,
In our time it�s taboo.

But yet I yearn for the day when I can,
I want to show the world,
Who I love,
And why I love him.

I love him because,
He treats me right,
He�s always there for me,
And he makes me smile.

What is wrong with that?
How can something like that,
Be bad?

I walk the beach at night,

I see some guys and take off in flight,

Is this the way to live?
What am I afraid of?

And that is the reason so many people ridicule me,

I feel the cool, crisp air flowing over my face,
With each passing second my nose gets colder.
I watch the moonlight dance across the yard,
Touching the ground ever so lightly.

I feel renewed again,
Like a child I wait to see what happens next.
I reach for my coffee,
Feeling it�s warmth.

I think of the days that i want to come,
Having someone to show this to.
Sharing a blanket and holding onto each other,
Feeling what the other feels.

I can just feel the warmth of his body,
Gentle warmth that reaches deep into my soul.
