Backstreet’s Brian Littrell answers the questions others are too afraid to ask.

Are you sick of people prying into your love life?

Yes, but that’s why I announced my engagement to Leighanne as soon as management let me. I didn’t want false rumours out there or reporters snooping around my relatives’ houses asking questions.

How are your fans taking the news?

I know that when the initial hubbub dies down, the fans will ultimately be happy for us.

Do you think your album sales will drop because you’re engaged?

That’s a ridiculous question! Girls can still dream about the others, apart from Kevin. It’s OK I’m off the market- I was not the one everyone was interested in, anyway!

Can a marriage withstand your crazy schedule?

(Firmly) Yes! If both partners are devoted to making the relationship work, it can withstand anything.

What’s your secret?

We already see each other on a limited basis, so we both believe absence makes the heart grow fonder. But we make every effort to spend any free time together. We love each other a lot- we both knew this was ‘it’ when we met!

Do you need to be in love to feel successful?

I already feel successful but I want more out of life- a wife, a family, and hopefully an acting role or two along the way! And I want all our relationships within the Backstreet Boys to stay strong.
