Newsbot Rules

Rule 1: No cursing. GBL is a family enviornment, and as we represent GBL as much as the ops do we will not degrade it with such language. Since the filter is optional in 2.3 that means that you cannot assume your language will be filtered. Refrain from using the actual words, simply input Fark or Flour, or some such word, as we all know what you mean. First time is a warning and probation period, and further infractions within the probation period results in your termination.

Rule 2: Be Online. I'm not gonna say a minimum amount of time, but I want your presence to be known and I want interaction. Since public opinion dictates alot I will periodically ask how we, as the News crew, are doing. If I hear of any unknown absences (i.e. I wasn't informed) I will be having a chat. Too many of these AWOL sessions and you will no longer be a bot.

Rule 3: Stories. At the time of the daily Planetary reset, it will be up to you and the other NB's that are on to determin who's writing and what. Doesn't have to be fancy, just outline the days events, inform on which planets were won/lost and which are currently under contention. At Sectors end there will be a story of the side that won the sector with a recap and whatnot. Who writes this and when will be determined at sectors start.

Rule 4: Meetings. I hate them too. Under normal circumstances I won't hold meetings. I do however encourage any NB's online to briefly catch up or discuss any of the latest events. Lets keep everyone informed! In the event that I do need to call a meeting with you all I will inform you a few days in advance (or as far in advance as I can). If you cannot make it tell me, and I will forward minutes to you of the meeting so your up to par.

Rule 5: Well this section was about a cooperation with BY_NB3, but with certain things that have come to light, I feel that an effort on my part should no longer be made. NB #'s will be assigned beginning with 6 where we left off here. If you guys wanna deal with the confusion outside of GBL, then have at it, but with the *cough* PW "Look we're Newsbots" *cough* it'll get confusing. But ya know what, I don't give a damn!
