In breaking news, the Tough Guy and myself went to a sold-out Shark Park to see the Olympic Sharks put a thumping on a struggling Northern Spirit. The pitch was in good condition, but winds proved unfavourable for the Northern Spirit. The final score was 3-0, scorers included Tom Pondeljak, Ante Milicic and Andrew Packer. A very solid performance from Clint Bolton in goals proved helpful towards the Shark's success.
The Sharkies were spurred on by appearances from such celebrities the Tough Guy, the Big Man and little-known Costya Tzu. Another interesting fact from the game occurred when star striker, Hiroyuki Ishida was the first person to break his nose in the first 30 seconds of going on field after a surprise substitution in the dying minutes of the game.
