| My Childcare Philosophy |
Children have always held a special place in my heart. I strongly believe that the environment I provide must be safe, consistant and full of love, respect, acceptance and most importantly full of fun!! Children at a young age need to enjoy their childhood and be as stress free as possible. The small group setting with mixed age groups that I offer will help the children learn & grow physically, emotionally, and socially. This is accomplished through free play, structured play and normal daily living. The benefits of my home childcare are: your child will have the same caregiver for the time he/she is here. Children need the consistency of having the same people involved in their daily care. Another benefit is the child is exposed to a limited number of children each day and therefore exposed to fewer illnesses. Finally, in a small home group, your child will receive much more individual attention and are given more freedom of movement and expression since a small group is easier to manage.
