Lassie died in childbirth (it is said with twins) on Mar. 28, 1915. Lewis married twice more before he died on Nov. 30, 1935. Lewis and Lassie are buried at the Family Plot, on the top of the hill at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Acworth, GA. Their children are listed below:

2. Meadie Lucille b Mar. 28, 1892 d June 10, 1978 married Warren David McClure. Both are buried
at Bascomb United Methodist Church, Cherokee Co., GA
3. Paul Walton b April 19, 1894 d May 8, 1989 never married. Buried at Liberty Hill.
4. Lillian Inora b April 23, 1896 d June 22, 1956 Lillian married Ode E. Kemp b May 26, 1891
d. October 31, 1964.
5. Dewey Grace b May 30, 1898 d Aug. 23, 1968 m Clifford Duane Casey b. November 11, 1901
d April 2, 1958. Both are buried at Liberty Hill.
6. Edward Lewis b Nov. 10, 1901 d Oct. 31, 1983 m Ozell ?
7. Corine Ula b Feb. 16, 1904 d Nov 1991 m Caleb Kirk Jolly b Mar 8, 1901 d November 25, 1988
both are buried at Liberty Hill.
