Pope v Rabbi Golf game
Submitted by Grima

The pope is told by one of his cardinals that the leader of the Jewish religion has challenged him to a game of golf. Not wishing to cause any stress between the two religions, the pope agrees but, not being very good at golf decides to let his cardinal play for him. The cardinal suggests, if the pope really wants to win that they make a professional golfer a cardinal just for the day. The cardinal suggests Greg Norman. When Greg is asked to play on behalf of the pope, he is delighted and agrees at once. He is sent off to play with one of the Jewish leader's rabbis. Later that day, Greg Norman returns to the pope to tell him the result of the match. “How did you go?” asks the pope. “Fantastic!” says Greg, “One of the best rounds I have ever played! My drives were straight, my putts went in and it was an all round excellent performance!” “So you won?” asks the pope. “No,” says Greg, “Rabbi Tiger Woods beat me by four strokes.”
