                    Queensland (QLD), Australia
                   Flight Simulator Scenery by OzPack
                       Revision Date -30 August, 1999
               ***** FS6 (aka FS95) INSTALLATION *****
========================================================================

1. PRELIMINARY INSTRUCTIONS
   ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
This scenery employs a special FSASM objects file, named FSASMLIB.DLL,
which MUST BE INSTALLED. This file is found in FLIB600.ZIP which is
enclosed in AQLD9909-1.ZIP.

Install FSASMLIB.DLL per instructions found in README.TXT which accompanies
FLIB600.ZIP. If you already have FSASMLIB.DLL installed, the installation
process will detect if the DLL enclosed is newer, and will proceed with the
installation and overwrite the older version. If the DLL enclosed is older
it will leave intact the existing file.

Note: This special objects file allows much more dense scenery
to be employed without running out of the 256K FS5.1 visual
limit, from any one viewing point in a 10 km radius, even if the
visual range of the object is set for less. For example, each
windsock, with a range of only about 2000 m, uses at least 7K.
At Sydney Airport, the 7 windsocks would use about 50K of the
256K limit, were it not for FSASM.FSO. This would severely limit
remaining visual capacity for other objects, eg, even those as
far away as would be seen when approaching Bankstown Airport and
    in Sydney City.

Delete or deactivate any previous version of QLD scenery or any
scenery which contains components in QLD from other sources. If this is
not done, there could be significant visual conflict and/or lockups could
be encountered.

If you already have the three OAV texture files installed in the main
(fs6)\TEXTURE directory, there is no need to re-install or overwrite them.
But overwrite will not be harmful.

If you already have some OzPack R8 texture files installed, these should be
overwritten with the R8 files included with this new version.

Finally, backup the file WORLD.VIS file in the (fs6)\SCENERY directory to,
say, WORLD.BAK. If something goes wrong, you can recover by simply copying
WORLD.BAK to WORLD.VIS.
