| Abbreviations are a sign of familiarity, casualness and a lack of respect by definition. Much the same as nicknames. They mean you just don't care enough, or don't have room enough to write it out fully. My fraternity means quite a bit to me, and so it buge me when this sort of disrespect is shown to it. I am a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon, and, to whatever extent I feel necessary, I will defend my fraternity. | ||||
