| My Real Face in the Real World | ||||||
| In this day of PC and deceit, In this age of liars and cheats, I wear masks to hide who I am. So many masks I don't know who I am anymore. In this epoch of no absolutes, In this era of nothing being as it seems, No one knows who I am. No one, not even I, know who I am anymore. In this moment of time that we live in, In this eon of time and space, Can I find once again what I'm living for? Can I once again find my real face? I think I know who I once was, Or maybe I just imagine I know. Once this face was worn openly, Once a very long time ago. Now I strive to go back, To find who I once was. Hoping to show the world, Who I can become again. Jonathan Stephen Bruce |
