Update March 14, 2003:
I've come to the very difficult decicion to discontinue the penpal project. I'm hearing too many bad things about possible terrorist attacks against our troops through their APO addresses. While I want to show support to our military, it is also imperative that they remain safe. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if someone came to harm as a result of this penpal project.
I will continue posting tributes and stories, however. We will all continue to hope and pray that all of our troops make it safely home. And may those who don't make it home rest in peace.
