| Words that should be words! |
| What am I on about?! Well I'm glad you didn't ask! Even so, I'll tell you. Have you ever sent a text message from your mobile comunication device, otherwise known as a mobile phone or a cell phone for the international visitors and typed a word wrong by mixing up letters yet it looks right? I have, many a time and now it's just second nature. So, in this first of one things, I'll tell you some of my favourites and see if you can start doing it and watch it catch on! Trust me, you'll start saying these words in every day conversation and it's rather funny ha ha, not starnge when you're talking to a client or angry member on the phone and you let a word slip. Let's start with the one that kicked off this soon to be (in my mind) phenomenon (do do do do do) INTERSETING: Fun to say, fun to type, fun all round! I did this the first time and had to read it back 36 times before I realised it was wrong. I found it very interseting. As should you. Let's use it in a scenario. "Hey Troy, look at that mutant penguin!", "Why yes Ira, that is a very interseting penguin!" See! It works! JURT: Huh?! Yeah I know! This a major spelling mistake on the phone! It's weird to say. Scenario: "Hey Troy, are you ready yet?", "Jurt a minute, I'm jurt putting on my left sock, or is it my right sock, either way, I'll jurt be a sec." BAM! 3 in one sentance! STARNGE: This one comes down to mutant typing fingers! You know when you jurt mix up the letter when typing, oh, you don't? Well aren't you jurt a typing genius!! I do, so there, I win because it's my page! So this one came about by my mutantness. Let's try this one: "Look at that starnge yet amazing thing!" , "That's starnge indeed!" RUB: Hang on, this is a word already, but this one is a context thing! Kinda fitting the way this came about too! My mate JD got a text from someone, that said "I'll meet you at the rub" um, OK thought JD, so he grabbed his oil and left. OH, THE PUB! Right, I think someone had been drinking previously on 24! So the rub is now an ocasional and by occasional I mean daily visit! APOGOLIZE: It jurt sounds so much more sincere when you say it this way! Plus it is fun to say and makes people look at you funnier than they already do! Here's what I mean: "Dude, you broke my Lex Luthor action figure!", "I apogolize dude, I was jurt trying to rid the world from evil!" See! Exactly... |
| Surely there must be more! I mean I'm not the only mutant that spells shit wrong, even though I jurt spelt shit right then, usually I put a j in it.
