His family never had a lot when he was younger, so he resorted to panhandling and selling stolen goods when he was 13 years old. He found that he had this strange ability to sell anything to anyone. Hell, he could sell ice to an eskimo. Also, growing up in Atlantic City, he had to learn how to defend himself, and did what he could to stay in shape. Move ahead 10 years ... Markus found himself as a vendor at small wrestling events up and down the eastern coast of the US. One day a young man was at Spencer's booth, and commented that Spencer himself could handle himself in the ring, and that got Markus thinking. If he could in fact hang in there with the big boys, maybe he could make a name for himself, and eventually sell t-shirts and other merchandise with his face and name on them. Thus, Markus Spencer "The World's Toughest Salesman" was born. After paying his dues in the indy circuit, Spencer was approcaed by GWF CEO James Milenko, and offered a contract with the Global Wrestling Federation. Spencer only had one question for Milenko, "Can I sell my own merchandise?". The answer was yes, and now Markus Spencer is after GWF Gold, and fan's wallets.
