Gabriela was last seen on stage in Mildred's Umbrella's Tomorrow Morning, in which she played the role of the pill-popping Etta. She also starred in the company's first production, Kama Sutra, in which she played the lead role of Cathy, the adulterous lawyer. In addition to her work with Mildred's Umbrella, she has played Stephen Mann, The wife-beater in C. Durang's The Meaning and Purpose of the Universe, and she participated in a skit on the Final work of the Marquis de Sade, for the Mildred's Umbrella/Dos Chicas Fundraiser in Oct 2003. She has also done children's theater in Brazil. She speaks 4 languages, has travelled the world, and has a PhD in creative writing at University of Houston.
