Milby Class of 1970
Bulletin Board
Recognize the "cool dude" above?  It's Robert Bednar getting set to participate in the MS150 bike
ride from Houston to Austin, which took place on April 20-21, 2002.  Robert rode his new
recumbent bike and was doing quite well until his legs started cramping up after 90 miles.  The
purpose of the ride is to raise money for the MS fund, and we applaud Robert for his effort.  Would
more Milby grads like to participate?  I'm sure Robert would be glad to get you signed up for next
years ride.  You can contact Robert at:

"Jimmy Hassell Outdoors"
Jimmy Hassell and his son Jamie show off the 33 geese they
took while hunting in Lissie, TX on January 3, 2001.  How
would you like to clean all them birds?
Jimmy Hassell has a right to be smiling about these
three speckled trout that he caught in Baffin Bay.
The biggest was 28" long and weighed 8 1/2 lbs.
He also had a 7 1/2 and a 5 1/2 pounder along with
about 50 more trout caught in two days of fishing,
all on artificial baits.  Jimmy says this was the best fishing trip he has ever been on.

Thanks for the pictures, Jimmy!

Milby Alumni Cookbook
Sam Jones has come up with a great idea!  He's going to attempt to put together a cookbook for Milby Alumni.  All he needs is your favorite recipes.  If you have one (or two) recipes that you think your other classmates will enjoy, then send it to him so we can all try it out.  E-mail your recipe to: [email protected]
