Hawaii, April 2001

Home, sweet home

This year Johan's father, Lars, went to Japan to celebrate his 60th birthday. Little did he know that Johan and Mayumi had planned a special gift, a trip to Hawaii.

Life is great!

So here we are on Oahu, at the Waikiki beach. The sun is shining, the temperature is very comfortable and everyone feels great.

The hotel was good, and the city centre might be only for tourists, but it is still a nice place to spend a few days.

Eventually we returned to Japan, and the most interesting thing to happen here was that Erika was blessed in a Shinto cermony, which was attended by Johan's family and Mayumi's mother.
