Built by Forges et Chantiers de la Mediterranee, La Seyne, France in 1887 for French Line. She was christened
La Gascogne and was used for Le Havre - New York service. In 1912 she was sold to Compagnie Sud-Atlantique for the France - South America service. La Gascogne was scrapped in 1920.
