| In the late 50's Avro Canada decided to undertake the governtments plead for a high-performance interceptor, there answer was the Arrow, capable of speeds well over Mach 2, the Arrow was ahead of its time. There was only one downfall to this magnifisent aircraft, its cost. With the intrest at the time in unmanned missles and sputnik, the canadian government killed the projects, and the hopes of millions. |
