TINGHE a new area of Guangzhou,you can take a taxi to the Guangzhou East train station, look inside, and from here stroll around Tianhe. See the handsome sports stadium and some attractive modern statuary, then take a look at the eclectic architecture of the city's newest skyscrapers, which combine Doric-column courtyards, neo-Gothic archways, colored glass-clad facades, and traditional Chinese roofs. Drop by the multistoried book shop and the newest shopping arcades of Teem Plaza.

Chen Jia Ci which is belong to Chen Family Temple, is a very archaic place in Guangzhou, also in Fujian.Crafted by masters from local clay into birds, flowers, mythical beasts, sacred images, and historical tableaux, they usually crown a temple pavilion or study hall, representing one of the great folk art traditions of all China. One of the most marvelous of these works of art can be found on the Chen Family Temple, where it stretches 90 ft along the main roof, depicting scenes from the epic Romance of Three Kingdoms, with thousands of figures against a backdrop of ornate houses, monumental gates, and lush scenery. This is the showpiece of the temple but only one of its treasures. Elsewhere in the huge compound of pavilions and courtyards are friezes of delicately carved stone and wood, as well as fine iron castings and a dazzling altar covered with gold leaf.

Sha Mian Shamian was attacked in the 1920s but survived until the 1949 Revolution, when its mansions became government offices or apartment houses and the churches were turned into factories. In recent years, however, the island has resumed much of its old character. Many colonial buildings have been restored, and both churches have been beautifully renovated and reopened to worshipers. Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (Shamian Dajie at Yijie), with its cream-and-white neo-Gothic tower, is particularly attractive. A park with shady walks and benches has been created in the center of the island, where local residents come to chat with friends, walk their caged birds, or practice tai chi (shadow boxing). The island has also resumed its role as a foreign enclave.In addition, Shamian has developed into a shopping district, with brand-name boutiques in the White Swan and dozens of small shops selling Chinese paintings, pottery, minority handcrafts, and assorted souvenirs.

Bei Jing Road It is a shopping street,only open for Walking, it doesn't allow to drive car. It's easy for people to shop in here. Not a long time ago, archeologist discovered some archaic bronze statuettes in this street, then the government rebuilt this street. Now, here is more like a travel industry site!
