well.. first of all, Thirdworld is about a group of Filipino highschool teens and their 'adventures' in the southeast asian country.
The character designs were influenced by 'That Weekly' (what evere happened to it?!), an online comic i was really into at that time. This might sound lame to some people but japanese manga/anime were also major influences for the art, that explains some of their facial expressions.
The strips were mostly based on me and my friends' experiences and might be a bit of a parody of our school and our society.
Most jokes and topics contain some 'harsh' language and some.. uh... sexual content, so viewer discretion is advised.... no, there isn't any porn. |
