| Now I should start this by saying that on a whole I do like Geocities. But recently I have come into a slight probleme. It seems that The page builder programe and file manager are compleatly incompatable. Now to explain why this annoys me so I'll have to discribe what I've been doing with the two so you understand why I'm so unconvinienced by this. So here we go. Normaly I do most of my updates through Page Builder. I'm not that good with HTML (and thus file manager). But I have had a laptop come into my possesion of late. So I've taken to writing my rants and stories in word perfect and then copy/pasting them to notepad from witch I can upload them. Once uploaded I rename them to .html and then do some finnishing touches in Page Builder. But now, for some reason, nothing that is altered in file manager (renamed, edited by means of HTML code or anything else) can be opened through page builder. This means that I have to write everything up in page builder itself if I want it posed. This gets vary annoying when what I'm trying to upload is several chapters long. Not to mention that page builder has no spell check and from now on you will find a lot more spelling mistakes in my work. So that's my excuse for not updateing for so long. Partly because I was annoyed with geocities and partly because I lacked motivation once I found that I couldn't fix the probleme. But I'm over that now and will be updateing regulairly (I hope). But naturaly, anything of any geart length will take longer to be posed. So there will be bigger gaps between the chapters of any stories written from here on in. |
