| Does fate existe? Does destiny exist? Is there a differnce between the two? These are all questions raised during one particular lunch at school by my friends. I'll admit we're a extreamly percuilieur bunch. Anyway that discusion got me thinking, as to many things do it seems. I remembered thoughts that I had of this subject a few years back and to my surprise I remembered that I had once beviled compleatly in fate. I had belived that everything that I did was what was meant to be done and that events would unfold as they should. Upon thinking I'm afraid I'll have to revise my decision. I belive that when we come to a decision in life, our choice is not fated or pre-destined. The choice that we make is our own. However, once we make that decision I do belive that we are fated to the next decision that we have to make in that chain of events. So I do belive that fate exists to a point. Destiny. By most people it is regared as another word for fate. But I think that they are different versions of the same thing. Fate is simply a more detailed type of destiny. When you refer to your destiny you're refering to the fate of your life, or something longspan like that. But when you say fate that can many anthing, right down to what you're doing today. So that's pretty much all that I have to say on that. |
