I once heard that we define our life by the amount of pain. That makes so much sense! It may seem pessimistic but it's true. We, as a world culture, define our quality of life by how much pain we are experianceing. If you don't agree with me just think about this. There is plenty of stories about people that are placed in paradice but they just can't except it and eventually they destroy it somehow. If you can't think of any examples I'm sure you've heard the story of Adam and Eve from the bible? Or even if you've seen the movie "The Matrix" this subject is mentioned. Anyway lets reverse the situation. Let's say that some people are placed in a virtual hell instead of a paradice. Would they still not belive that's it real? I think it's more likely that they would just except it and complain about it for eterity, never doing anything about it. If you don't folow me just consider this. Why are old people ( or senior citizens ) always complaining about about the state of the world and yet not doing anything? They have thier past to compaire the world to, thier memories of how the world used to be. And even the most closed minded person must admit that the world certainly isn't getting better in most repects. But they don't do anything because they simply accept this as reality no matter how bad it gets. Would it be the same if we where suddenly in a paradice? Don't think so. Doesn't speek vary well for the human culture does it. Oh well, we are what we are. . .
