I was thinking a while ago ( I know that I do to much ) and I stumbled accross the subject of coulor perception. Myself I happen to be colour blind, or have a "red/green colour defficiency" if you want to get technical about it. Basicly I perceive certain shades of red and green different then everyone else. So that got me thinking, how do I ( or anyone else for that matter ) know that we see the same colour as everyone else? That is to say, how do I know that my yellow looks the same as the yellow that you see? When you where little your pearents tought you colours by showing you a picture and saying "That square is blue" or something like that so you knew that that colour was blue. Let's say, hypotheticly, that your pearents see a colour that they call blue in the square. Then you look at it and see something else. But you start calling it blue whenever you see it because that is what you where tought. I know I may have lost some of you back there but I really can't think of a easier way to explain it.
