| ***** This book is unlike anything I've read thus far. If you've ever read "The Giver", it's kind of like that. Compleatly unique. It leave you wondering how the author ever came up with these ideas. And at the vary least, some respect for thier abilities to write a good book. Let me give you an idea of what it's about. But I can't say much as it would take away from the experiance of reading it. The main character is an adolecent female that has trouble fitting in. Her grades at school are dipping even though she's pretty smart. She also comes from a 'wierd' family. Her twin brothers and mom are pretty normal but it ends there. Her five year old brother doesn't talk much around strangers but in reality he is super intelligent. Her dad works for the government. And that's all she knows. He's been missing for quite a while. Then she meets three witches and is tessard to another planet to witness pure evil. Then they mention that they know her dad. And it goes from there, getting more and more bizarre with every page. But don't get me wrong, it's a mastpiece. Just don't draw to many conclusions to fast. You'll just have to ditch them later. Definetly worth reading as it doesn't take much time. I read it in a weekend. |
