Everyone has their own place of serenity. And, this one is mine! This is where I come to relax and find a little peace from the hectic world around me. My name is Michele, aka Mikki. And, I welcome you to come in and find out a little more about me.
I'm a mother of two wonderful, young men and a wife of 15 years. I met my husband at a young age and knew that I'd be with him for the rest of my life. Some people say that I was too young but, I wouldn't have it any other way.
Things I like to do:
Well, I guess you could say I'm a Martha Stewart wannabe (minus the jail time... lol). My new found passion is creating web graphics and pages. The graphics on this page were created by me from images provided from the internet. If you like them and would like to use them for a page of your own, feel free to save them to your computer. I know what it's like to see something and not be able to use them because of copyright or other reasons. After all, I did get the images from another free site that was kind enough to provide them. As of right now, I only have a trial version of my graphics program but, I hope to be able to purchase it, in full, someday. Then, I will be able to offer my services if there is a request for any particular graphics.
When I'm not here playin, you can find me creating my other passion.... gel wax candles! They're absolutely the neatest thing to get into. I have created a website offering pictures of some of my creations, along with contact information if anyone would like to order. I do accept custom orders IF they meet safety guidelines. You can find my site at Touch Of Heart Candle Creations by Mickie. You may notice the spelling of my nickname. Don't worry, it's still me (lol). I just go through stages and change the spelling from time to time.
Lets see... what else. I'm an outdoors kinda gal. To see where I live would shock most people. We don't get many visitors in our part of the woods so it's not a big shocker that I love it so much. I have to keep myself entertained (lol). I love to go camping and fishing and swimming in the creek; taking a ride down the river on a raft or boat. I love to sit at night and gaze at the sky; looking for those bright, shooting stars. And, I enjoy sitting around a campfire; shooting the sh** (lol) with our family and friends.
And, when I'm all alone and have something on my mind, I'm most likely sitting with a pen and tablet, putting my thoughts and feelings to paper. I don't claim to be a professional. It's just comforting for me when all seems to have gone wrong.
