| All of the earrings displayed on this page are hand-folded, 3-dimensional origami stars. The stars are held in place with a mid 1950's dyed bone bead in either fuscia, deep purple, and rich turquoise color. The stars have been dipped in resin to make them more durable-- they are less likely to crush, wilt, warp, discolor, or fall victim to any form of moisture than plain paper would. I have traveled with these earrings many times, and they've taken to it quite nicely-- no need to fear their fragile nature. :) ***Because the paper has been dipped in resin, we once in a while find a pair that doesn't quite match in color-- such is the nature of paper and ink. When this is noticably the case, we WILL say so in the description! Handmade is beautiful because it is different! | |
