The Reading Festival 2003. One that had been anticipated by many people and this year it was looking up to be a classic. Once again I was going, not for the weekend as I�m not the camping type but I was off for just the day. Arriving just after 1pm I had time to walk around the place for a while. It was a really good atmosphere there, I hadn�t been to a festival before so I was looking forward to this one. It was a lovely hot day with no mud just beautiful sunshine.
The Darkness were on just before Placebo, they did a really good set and I must admit I enjoyed that one, then just as the sun was setting Placebo hit Main stage. Storming out with energetic Bulletproof Cupid it was looking all set to be a great show. During �Allergic� Brian got knocked over by Stef which was one to be remembered, They did a amazing set which featured �Every You, Every Me� �English Summer Rain� �Bitter End� �Special Needs� amongst others. Placebo played for about an hour and the whole set was very enjoyable to watch. I couldn�t see much but it was a great atmosphere and a really good festival all in all. |
