After being back from the Brighton show for just a few hours it was once again time to get ready for another Placebo show. The trains were really bad that day so I didnt get to the venue itself till after 7pm. By the time we got there Colour Of Fire had already taken to the stage. The venue was hot and sweaty so for this one I stayed near the back.
The set-list was the same as the previous night, however the whole show had a different feel to it. The Astoria was much larger then the Concorde and the security were ignorant but it was still a good gig. The lights were amazing and once again the band seemed to be in a good mood. Brian was still chatty with the audience but not as much as the night before.
Their were a few Main highlights to this show, one being that there was some confusion over the set-list, Brian was introducing what he thought was Second Sight then after discussing it with the band realised it was in fact Special Needs a very funny moment not to be forgotten easily.
Once again they ended nicely with Where Is My Mind and at the end of the gig I left feeling tired and happy that I had just witnessed another amazing show. |
