Once upon a time, a little girl lived in the woods with her mother. The little girl always wore a red hooded cloak whenever she went out. Because of this her mother called her Little Red Riding Hood.
Little Red Riding Hood loved her grandmother very much. Her grandmother lived at the far end of the woods. One day, Little Red Riding Hood asked her mother if she could visit her grandmother. Her mother thought that this was a good idea as her grand mother was ill and she would be happy to see Little Red Riding Hood.

Before Little Red Riding Hood left the house, her mother gave her some advice.
“Go straight to grandmother’s house. Don’t stop and talk to any strangers on the way.”
“Yes mother,” replied Little Red Riding Hood, as she picked up a basket of fruit for her grandmother.
“I will go as fast as I can and I promise to be back soon.”
